On April 1st & 2nd the Competitive Dance Team participated at Myrtle Beach in the Eastern Dance Association Nationals, competing in 8 categories and winning 8 trophies along with a special award for .Most Amazing Technical Skills!. Over 50 teams from 15 states attended this event. Team members include: Amy Coss, Alex Knell, Sam Schenk, Devin Wilson, Liz Harrington, Kelly Scanlon, Liz Lorenzi and Elaine Oestreich.

The following students auditioned into the PMEA District 1 Honors Band on October 10 at Chartiers Valley High School. The Concert will be Sunday afternoon, November 27 at Carnegie Music Hall in Oakland. North Allegheny had 16 students make the band, more than any other participating high school. PMEA District 1 covers the counties of Allegheny, Washington, Fayette, Greene, and Westmoreland.
